Fast track Pro causes Horrible Noise (tm)

A new one :
when I move faders or act in some ways in Live, it makes that horrible buzzing noise, nearly as loud as the music.
If I just move the mouse it's fine, it's only when I actually move something in Live.
(Hope of having a stable laptop, acting normally, disappearing into nothingness)
