Hi

my system is very healthy;
Windows xp pro ,768 Ram ,1.3g Pentium 4 on Asus p4t mainboard,pogramms installed on seagate scsi hdd.
as for plug- ins i use native Live plugs and some other vst effects but thats not an issue .i bypassed plug-ins to test if its them sucking cpu
recorces and making program running slow.
what i noticed though and do not understand is
having only audio files in Live dont matter how many , should not make program sluggish.in Logic i have long audio files on 20 tracks and its running smoothly wich is unfortunately not the case with Live,because Live would be my choice to run audio.
to me it is unecceptable to sit back and wait 2 minutes till pasted clip graphically appears on the arrange window(i mean it happens when i have song with lot of files)it kills creative vibe.

i want to know may be theres technical explanation of this issue

Regards Art :roll: :roll:

I think he is right with what he noticed. If your session view or the arranger holds pretty much files, the usage (e.g. copy paste, drag & drop) get pretty slow. We have improved this in the 1.5 beta so test this please.

that's what i noticed too. the gui slows down in a unacceptable way when you are using large live sets. with 1.5 this has improved a lot, but still it's not as performant as eg logic.
