I must have selected something new, but for some reason all of my audio clips have normal behavior but my midi ones do not.

When I select a scene that is already playing, my audio clips start over but my midi clips just plain stop. I just tried every variation of the preferences I can think of, but I am drinking coffee at 3:17 in the morning over here, and I think I missing or forgetting about something.

Um-Help me please?

the midi clips are likely set to toggle.

Thank You Sweet Jesus, but how do I reset my midiclips to trigger? My preferences still say trigger. Is this a bug or is there a menu somewhere that I am not aware of?

do midi clips get ASD associations? .. i dont think so, but im trying to think where clip settings get stored for a midi clip and nothing comes to mind.

i would create a new midi clip and copy/paste the contents of this one to there and test it out.

I am actually experiencing this on all of my midi clips, in all of my sets in 5.2. I suppose the smart thing for me to do is start new set in 5.0.3, establish if it does not work, and then use it as baseline to determine if it is 5.2 by dragging a current 5.2 set with the problem into it. If doesn't go a way it should be on my end, but if it does, then it might be a bug in 5.2.

I figured it out. This problem may have been exasperated by some dislexia between toggle and trigger while troubleshooting in preferences, but ultimately it comes down to the fact that ALL of the drum beats in one of my Live Fills is set to toogle in the individual clips, and because I trust this source as much as I do, I assumed there would be consistancy where the was not. Pretty embarassing that I have been troubleshooting with these the whole time, but not as embarassing as the fact that I did not bother to look into the individual clips themselves.

This is the peoblem that happens when you try to apply the scientific method when you are drinking. As you continue your research in the future you may assume you covered some all of the bases when you didn't.
