JL Cooper CS-32 Problems with Live

:(

iBook user Mac.
Abelton Live

Running CS-32 USB version of JL Cooper surface controller.

Seems that in version 2.0.3 when I hit MIDI button, and try to command the CS to recognize the slider fader, for example, or any other control, I am getting no light up on the I button showing that MIDI is going to LIVE.
The CS-32 shows that it's sending it out. The Key Set shows that it's recognizing it as a "fader" or whatever, but the LIVE program doesn't seem to be taking the input from the CS.

In preferences, I see that the CS-32 doesn't show up in the MIDI in's or outs, either.

Please help, as I need to know whether this controller will work with LIVE.

Thanks
UBO.

is the minidesk usb? if it is, then that might be your problem. i had nothing but trouble with my uc-16 and oxygen when using it over usb. sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. try running it's midi out (if it has one) through a midi interface to your computer and see if that works.

Hello,

I tried the CS-32 briefly using 0S 9.2.2/OMS 2.3.8 and it was just fine.
Which OS do you use?

I did get it to work, after getting updates from JL Cooper and info on how to run it. Manual was very incomplete.

Qustion. With USB possible problem as this is the JL Cooper CS-32 version I got. Would it be better to get MIDI version of this?

Thanks
UBO.

I just bought mine too (USB), and can't seem to have it be recognized as a MIDI device by Live....

Any hints on what it takes to make this happen?

Thanks
