That URL for Melodyne is:
http://www.celemony.com/
You might want to also look at Rapid Evolution. Designed for DJ's as a music library tool to be used while you mix.
The software includes keydetection and BPM detection. Not always spot on, but I'm guessing it would be more acurate with samples as there is less going on in a sample than a full track.
It's also free.

Not only this sofft will tell you the key of you sample but also the harmonics and it's a great soft for managing your sample library....69 bucks for worth every penny!

Hey, Thanks everyone. If guess that the saying is true. "You get what you pay for".
The best is Melodyne3, but of course its $699US (Plus, they had a video on the site to assist you) Made it easy to start tinkering with the software.
Audiofinder was real cool until I tried Melodyne3, but Audiofinder looks pretty complex and I didnt find many tutorials. Yah, there's the manual, but I didnt feel like reading all of it.
Mixshare is most likely, going to be the one that I'll use, but here's a video overview of how cool Melodyne3 is

i have melodyne cre8, it's awesome, but that's a little bit of overkill if you just want to find the pitch of a sample. barring that, you can do what i do and either a. figure it out yourself by playing the note on a keyboard / guitar or b. hook up a guitar tuner to an aux out and let it tell you the pitch. you could get a boss pedal tuner for like 50 bucks if you look on ebay. i use it for tuning my acoustic guitar (play through the mic, the signal goes out through the speakers and also out through the aux output into the pedal), it works really well

Hi, yes I use to run it through the guitar tuner or play my keyboard, but I starting working outside of home, in coffee shops and wifi cafes, so I was needing to slim down my setup.
