Open-Up Python API

I just saw that the Control-PlugIns (Mackie, ProjectMix I/O etc.) are written in Python. It would be nice if Ableton would publish those APIs so that one could add features or write own plugins.

They'll never give those up. (believe me, people have tried
)
Ableton wont break their NDA just to help us...
That being said, i'm sure that they don't mind if people reverse engineer it.
Nobody made a peep when the mackie control was figured out...

This is a nearly 4 year old thread mate. Those experts really only got a good version going since 2008.
