When rendering finished songs, allow add silence @ beginning

How cool would it be if when you rendered a track to disk in Live, it asked you how many milliseconds/beats of silence you would like to add to the beginning of the track before bar 1.1.1 starts - I always have to shift stuff up on the time line by 0.0.2 bars to make enough silence at the beginning that I can play it back on most players without the beginning being clipped (e.g. iPod, iTunes, cheap CD players) - This is a pain if I want to come back and edit the track - everything is slightly shifted up which makes it much slower and I have to remove the silence at the beginning again if I want to use the tracks Live and have the timecode make sense) I know I am supposed to use a proper mastering program, but if Live had this 'add silence at beginning' function, it would be totally fine for everything I need and would save me a lot of headaches.
How about it? Or is there a way to do this that I have miraculously overlooked?

when producing, forget about it.
when mastering/finalizing (for ipods & cheap cd players) go ahead and add the silence via your fav wav editor.
Yes but it would still be nice to have the option...

...particularly when making lots of 'trial' mixes or running off less important 'fun' stuff and it's already two in the morning...
If Ableton added this feature, it doesn't mean that the pro users would HAVE to use it, but it would be a useful addition for those who don't want to have to use a WAV editor as well just to get a track that sounds properly finished. Also, it means making two files every time you produce a song. I think a piece of software as well integrated as Live would benefit from this feature - plus, I haven't found a free WAV editor I like yet - Audacity's interface is looking pretty crusty these days...
It's a simple feature to add and those who do their mastering 'properly' could ignore it.
