installing 5.2

how do i install 5.2 on my new intel imac?? do i first have to install live 5 and or do i just go to the website and download 5.2 without evern installing live 5??

and purchase the intel osx upgrade for 50 bux and then
download the 5.2 universal binary and install it.
no need for the old 5.0
