I do!!!!
I wanted to share a part of a set from a swiss dj with you guys.
ripperton, and I think this set is really nice, and a good example of where european deep underground house is at these days
you gotta love the remix of ripperton on gui borrato that comes in at 24.30 something'
man,
that break just really gives me the shivers,

and the shouting you hear in the background makes me wanna party like I am 20 again and take some ....
ENJOY!

Yea, I think it's really revived itself, went thru a slump for a while but has refreshed itself.

well for crying out loud...
take my word for it; listen to this set then!
give it half an hour, and you won't be missing those days anymore.

in my opinion house is in a much better state now then then

well, I do...an acquantance of mine has been puting out releases like crazy. Jon Pegnato. I'm diggin that kinda stuff, but aside from that, I'm not really feeling much of the new stuff.

2000 and the era around it had some amazingly chunky tracks...

I love alot of what they're calling electro-house - but really it just sounds like 20 year old house but with new impressive technology and sounds and slick production - but the stabby blippy synths sound so futuristic but retro at the same time

unfortunately there's cheesy commercial "electro-house" too, but that's not what I'm talking about!

some of it Beatport are even putting under techno - much slower and more produced, less chunky and loopy than regular full fat techno

I'm just loving the sublime synth grittyness around - really minimally produced with not many elements, but pumping beats, bass and blips

I'm really getting some use out of Pro-53 through a Saturator lately

in fact BIG UP DA SATURATOR! it's the absolute bollocks and IMO probably the best thing about Live 5

in fact I'm gonna declare my love to the world!

re 45.30

yeah liked that track alot - what was it?

but TBH alot of it up to then was a bit too deep for me - I could go to sleep to it

the next one at 51 is VERY much my thing - love that kind of glitchy tech house stuff

in fact from 45 on is the bizniss!

do you have a tracklist?

sorry, no I don't
I am gonna find out though, give me a few days.
I wanna know some tracks as well.
yeah I am into that deep stuff... but a lot more people are these days (that was my point actually) maybe because of minimal or something I don't know.
mind you, he was warming up before james holden that night. who played another 4-5 hours after that, explaining the mellow start.
