Anyone Using A Lexicon Audio Interface?

Post by ProducerDJ » Wed May 03, 2006 8:26 pm

I apologize for yet another, "Anybody using this gear" question but i did not find this in a search. If you've used it or heard of any comments on usage, your input would be appreciated. I plan to use this with pc notebook (Toshiba Tecra A7).

The Alpha is but one of them. Originally there was the Omega Studio (which I have), then the Lambda, and now it seems Alpha as well. It's weird that the LexiconPro site only has information about the Omega.

Based on the Sweetwater specs the Alpha is all right, if the quality and the components are in the same league with the Omega. The software bundle is the same (the Pantheon reverb, mmm...). No SPDIF I/O would be bad. Bus-powered is good. Probably USB 1.1 not USB 2.0, but with so few inputs who cares.
