Mapping the 'Return' Key or Arming

Post by reggiecsf » Sun May 07, 2006 9:08 pm

y0w everybody

I'm looking for a way to map the 'return' key. That way I can just navigate to a clip and hit a MIDI note to launch the clip, or even to launch the recording of that clip. This will be WAY better than having to assign MIDI keys to each clip individually. Imagine being able to go over to the keyboard, hitting the clip on, playing, hit the clip off, all from the keyboard! Anyone know how this is done???

Additionally, if anyone knows how to map moving left<->right between tracks or the arming of the current track, that would be great too.

Been through the manual, can't find anything.

Thanks!

either a keystroke/midi converting program, or mackie emulation.
