CME UF5 + Audiophile and Driver/Midi TechnicBuying advice...

OK I am looking at getting a CME UF% after reading good things about it but the general feeling towards CME is that USB midi drivers on mac are a little wishy washy, so If i get a maudio audiophile for mixing and hook the CME up through its midi port am I right in thinking no drivers are needed?
