Hi Guys,,,

i have a problem, may someone can help me.

Sometimes if i rendered a track, there is a loud "peep"-sound on the wav-file !
I thougt one/some channels are clipping ! But there´s absolutely no sound, that´s to loud, clipping or others ! The Master Output is at 80% ! The "Normalize-function" is activated. No compressors, limiters etc. ! All other Channels are at max.70-80%, NO critical signals !!!
What the hell is the Problem ? Does anyone know what to do ??

Thanks a lot

Andy

P.S. using latest version !

Hi Rocker,

What plugins are you using in your song ?
Also, what computer are you working on, with what soundcard ?

Try removing plugins one by one from your session and see if that resolves the "beep" sound.

Kind regards,

Amaury

I am using:

P4 3,4Ghz
2GB RAM
Terratec EWS 88MT

The "Beep" problem occures while using NO external VST-pulgin !

Hi again,

Does it make a difference if you set the audio driver to "No Audio" in the Audio Preferences before rendering ?

Best,

Amaury

Hi,

okay, i didn´t try this yet ! do it asap !

thanks

Ps: I never had this Problem. Since I am using the UC33 controller (via USB), this Beep Sound is on the wav. Think, it could not be the Problem or `??

So, you're saying that it happens since you use a UC 33 right ? You should try to render with the UC 33 not connected to the computer as well then.
And if that solves the problem, make sure you've got the latest drivers for the UC 33.

Best,

Amaury

"NoAudio" or "deactivate UC33" makes no different !

It´s only working if the "normalize"-function is deactivated...

Hi again,

Could you zip the set and send it to me (or try to delete tracks first and reduce the set demonstrating the problem, with less tracks), if it is below 10 Mo ? Otherwise send the set only without samples, it may help.

Kind regards,

Amaury
