Live is not recording audio into correct folder.

I have Live default to record audio on disk 2 (my D: drive).For some reason, it continue to record the audio on my c:drive. I did go to preference to set it right, but it is still recording on my 1st disk (c:drive). I want it to record on disk 2 because there is too much activity on my C: drive
Is there a fix for this?
