HI!

Do anybody use live with external machines in live performances. I have the problem.. when I connect drum machine with live through MIDI IN and I try to syncing till here everything is ok. But when I record that sound from drum machine in Live the start of sample is always sync delay (about 3-6 ms). This is heard when I do live performances. In the preferences menu I choose Midi IN and a sync delay I put on 0 ms.
Is any solution to solve this problem? Do anybody has the same problem?

Hello Crazynuts,

You should try setting a negative delay on the MIDI track sending MIDI to your external device. Do you really need to send Sync as well ? If you are already sending the notes, it should be enough right ?
The track delay can be seen when selecting "Track Delay" in the View menu (assuming you are using Live 5).
