Hello,

I am running the beta version on a Tibook, OS X point latest, with Reason. After two months of investigation, the beta easily convinced me to buy the program, and I await its arrival in the mail...javascript:emoticon(':D')

In the meantime, I would appreciate help with two idiotic questions --

First, is there any way to overcome the very brief, yet very annoying, pause between activating a clip and hearing it?javascript:emoticon('')

Second, I have a 'complete' piece, only there are hundreds of empty spaces in the arranger before the actual music -- how can I delete this? Anything similiar to Reason's "remove bars" command?

Thanks,

Jonathan javascript:emoticon('8O')

annoying pause---adjust quantization settings. I redord all my clips on the fly, and find it easiest to have clip quantization (int he preferences dialog box) set to global (this means andy new clip can be of any length) and the quantization at the top of the screen on the control bar set to "bar" (this means that when i trigger a clip to record or playback, when i hit the midi button to trigger it, Live waits til the beggining of the next measure, and starts the clip right on the one, at the "bar" between measures)

you can click the upper left corner in the arranger view where your audio starts, drag down to the lower left corner so that you've highlighted all of your audio in the arranger. now just drag it to the begining of the arragerview--its all about the drag and drop. Live rocks, and i learn something new on it every day.

Thank you Ryan.

After having the beta for only a week, I cannot imagine ever having gone without it, although it seems at time a difficult beast to tame. It has made all of my tired old tracks unrecognizable...all for the better.
