weird clip length problem during live set recording

so aside from the fun glitching and stuttering i now have a fun clip length issue.

i was recording a live set on my desktop (the athlon mentioned below). i have most of my songs set with loop points at the end for mixing. when i trigger the next track after typing in the start loop point on the previous track in the clip view, it goes right to the loop and sounds fine. but when i went back to the recording in the arrangement view, most of the clips are off! what sounded dead on is now a jumbled mess, with clips ending at weird places and the next clip starting at the wrong point.

i am out of my head. the glitches and stutters were annoying enough, but this is just messed up. i have never had this happen while working on tracks or anything.

i just yesterday upgraded to 5.2 on this machine. not pleased.

so it looks as if live is randomly decideding to put loop markers where it damn well pleases when i record into arrange view.

i'm going back to 5.02. screw this...

Greetings Shiva,

Can you reproduce that behaviour? Then you should make a simple-as- possible set with instructions on what to do to and send it to Ableton.

You might have found a creepy crawly bug :?
