I am running the beta on a TiBook, OS 10.2.6.

For a few glorious minutes, I had the track activator lit up nice and yellow, only now I cannot recall how I brought this about, despite always having activated the "in/out" in view. All of the other switches (solo/monitoring/arm) light up and work fine. When it was momentarily activated, I found the track activator the most crackle-free means of cutting in and out...Sorry I am not advanced enough to come up with a better description than 'crackle'.

To update this condition:

I noticed that the track activators work and light up on *new* Live documents, yet they remain very disabled on the Live set I have been working on.

The crackle and pause (which Ryan said was a quantization issue) I mentioned seems to only occur when I stop the track with the bottons in the column. These problems do not seem to happen when using the track activators....when they are working.
