1" PB sold; i can buy one

help me make a choise: black or white?what do you fancy?

i like the black one, but i don't care about the extra 20GB, and 200€ more isn't a bit!

black... looks way cooler... and you'll care about the 20 gig eventually, my buddy got his white with 60gig yesterday and he's already regretting not upgrading.

That said you can get the white, spec it exactly like the black and still save a few bux. depends on what's important.

I'd get black... but I'm superficial

i got the white 2ghz. fuck the extra 20gb. get a firewire external if you need the extra storage.

Black will get you WAY more chicks.

all I can say to that is that I have lots of externals too, but I don't always want to carry them with me. I have 80gig and I'm running out of room fast, I don't have that much on it either.

Buy the white. Cheeper and the black color seems to ware-off.

I'd go with black. But I reckon in a month or so they will bring the price down for the colour option, hope so anyway... Its just a cheeky marketing ploy

That said tho, you could always adorn the white one with some cool stickers

white. All the way. Get the upgraded disk, and save 150 - spend that on a cool bag for it.

i would buy the cheapist one...remove the computer shell, and get someone to pro paint it a different color, or add a wooden shell to the original or something a lil diff...

I just got a white one. Appearance doesn't mean much to me; it only matters what she's got on the inside.

Although, to a lot of people, having a black one will make you appear cool...

To some people, having a black one they know you paid $150 more for will make you appear naïve...

So, unless looking at a black one all the time makes *you* $150 happier, and you are going to baby it so that it doesn't chip, get a white one.


Personally, I think the black ones look cheap (not a fan of the matte finish). Ironic, isn't it?


Not a fan of the glossy screens either, but that's beside the point.

I've read the same thing in multiple places--don't bother paying more for a finish that starts to wear in a week or two!!!
