Warping an entire track for remixing and editing pourposes

Hi,
I'd like to spice up an r'n'b track adding and house groove and re-editing it. I've tried to warp it but it's always out of sync...
So, just a couple of suggestions:
- are there particular instructions willing to warp an entire track?
- do you suggest me to use a groove taken from another house record or build it up using, for example, Reason in Rewire?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

sounds like you don't have it warped quite right. If it was correct you should be able to play anything and it would be in sync. Make sure you zooming way in when you are setting your warp markers, they may look on when zoomed out a little but still might not be right on.

Hi,

and thanks for your reply. When I zoom in I see the markers in the wrong position... Probably I'll haveo to set ther markers manually all along the track, is it the normal procedure when I'm in such situation?

Best Regards.

yeah, Live will try to auto warp, but that seems to only get it close. Verify that the # 1 warp marker is exactly on the 1st beat of the track.

Heres a good kinda tutorial that you can look at, might give you some insite.
Just drop the track your having issues with into the audio track and read the directions :)
