Live 6 teaser?
Live 6 teaser?
Isn't it time for the abletons release some teasers about the Live 6 specs? Has been quite some time now....
If not, we can always speculate what will be in Live 6

yeah right. the little "3 spoof" on the bottom right gives it away, ya almost had me there, but since track three is called "BassArp" methinks this is a photoshop production (though it could be nice on a big monitor!).

I had to put that in there as my last spoof was actually taken as real Live functionality. I got a few hopes up when I said that this could be achieved with a tick box in the preferences.quandry wrote:yeah right. the little "3 spoof" on the bottom right gives it away, ya almost had me there, but since track three is called "BassArp" methinks this is a photoshop production (though it could be nice on a big monitor!).
Well spotted though. I had hoped it would be a little longer before that clue was seen.
Damn!!!

sorry! But hey, I like both of these ideas, and I know people have been clamboring for both concepts in some way, shape, or form for awhile, so who knows, maybe you are on target!

Me too, as well as to provide a brief glimmer of excitment on the boards I hoped to maybe inspire the Ableton coders by knocking up some conceptual drawings. Although I am sure they're doing that anyway.

Yeah, it's a bummer that it wont be happening.........can you imagine? Shhiiiiiitt, it would increase productivity exponentially.........drag drop clips into arranger with both windows open, drag a questionble arrangment part back into the clip/editor and all while everthing is clickin' along..............
I would like to have the aranger on the left screen and the session view on the right monitor....eyeknow wrote:Yeah, it's a bummer that it wont be happening.........can you imagine? And a 'mixer view' with large faders, sends and inserts layed out as a 'traditional mixer'...
And of course proper support for multi-out VSTi's ...
