I'm running Live 4 on a Mac Dual 2.7 and want to control a number of things using my Kenton Control Freak. The Control Freak interfaces with Live via a MOTU 828 Mk 2.

The 828 is receiving incoming MIDI data from the Control Freak but Live isn't receiving anything. I have the 828 selected as the remote input in Live within MIDI prefs.

Anyone got any ideas ?

How do you know that the 828 is getting MIDI?
Flashing lights?
Can other apps get MIDI from it?
If you have nothing else to test against you could go get MIDI-OX.
