So, my roomate's computer crashed in the middle of a job he was working on. I let him use mine, he installed about ten Vsts on my machine. Then Live stopped working, i get a

Runtime error!

it doesnt even get to the loading box, i just get that darned runtime error. The VSTs have been uninstalled, ableton reinstalled, the registry cleaned, virus/spyware scan, google toolbar is gone. Ive done everything i can think of aside from reinstalling the OS.

please please help me figure out what to do next.

ok i feel silly, posting this so soon after the previous post, but i just got it working. I had taken all the vsts out of Live's VST folder and put them on a folder i had on the desktop. I assumed that live wouldnt recodize them anymore... i guess i was wrong, cause i just deleted the entire vst folder (all of my vsts included grumble grumble) and everything seems to work now.
