Try this one:

http://www.debugmode.com/wink/

I use it all the time for work - great for making software tutorials. Requires a bit more work tho, but once you get the hang of it you can get pretty creative.

Is there a tutorial video about how to make a tutorial video?

No need for tutorials with this...

Just go here and get this:
http://www.camstudio.org/

It's really easy to use. I might make a video tutorial on creating a video tutorial someday, but it's probably not necassary with this program.

Oh the best codec for your video compression is here:
http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

For audio compression just select something in the list that works. You'll know it works if you don't get a message saying that your audio will be saved without compression.

NOW GO OUT THERE AND MAKE ME A "CREATE A SONG" VIDEO TUTORIAL FOR LIVE 5!

Camtasia is used for Win, and Snapz pro for Mac (what I use for the Live 5 & 6 cd-roms for Thomson)

Live 6 feature: hold down alt while starting up the program and a script runs showing mouse movements in the last run Live set, but no samples loaded.

something like that, this came up a few weeks ago. there's a script file generated for bug reporting that could also be used for lessons. i have a good set going, not going to get that distracted to go try it out now, but you get the idea.
