Perhaps not something the seller should be owning up to.

I'm not sure what this post is suppossed to either mean, or what you are asking but I own that cd mix by Luiciano and it's pretty good. You might want to check out
www.paxahau.com where you can find much better mixes of those minimal sounds we all love...

i don't know how the scene is on the west coast in general, but i went to a SICK minimal/tech party in san francisco last spring. it was daniel bell & john tejada throwing down. great vibe, people were up for it and the beats were

there is a hell of a minimal scene here in LA.
techno in LA is gaining momentum in general.
hell of a time to be a techno artist/dj in Los Angeles

Minimal all the way here ..
No real hardware needed in my opinion except maybe a machinedrum or monomacine or both .. and monitors offcourse but that's not part of the *sounds* gearlist ..
I don't like the mix or crossover to elektro these days and I'm getting a little bored with the border community sound ripoffs .. I think the effort that dj ripperton (swiss) puts in the music is some sort of a new breeze I like. Richie,Villalobos and Magda are a different style among with some others, but ripperton, eulberg, the whole Boxer Sport label, me like a lot ..
My opinion ..

there is somewhat of a scene for it here in chicago
but the techno guys are always such assholes. dont ever make the mistake of trying to categorize a track into something that they might not agree with. spanish inquisition.

I'm out on the west coast and i'm a huge minimal fan. but the scene is pretty minimal (pun intended) up north in california it seems. the stuff going on in LA looks pretty cool, but i haven't gotten to check it out because i'm up north unfortunately.

i think missjade is talking about the KONTROL parties at the rxGallery in San Francisco. they have a monthly and get decent (and sometimes great) minimal techno artists almost every month. the parties are cool, but they end at 2 am. that's pretty weak if you ask me. especially compared to parties in europe or nyc. the worst part is you don't get to see anyone throw down a fat 6 hour set or live pa.

Minimal was big here for awhile (obviously), but now I think people are getting bored of it. Time to find the next "big thing".

as long as people don't go back to trance.
the minimal parties in berlin are the best. sooooo much fun and so many good artists. i hope the scene stays alive there at least.
