Syncproblem when opening new songs

Hi,
I am trying to connect 5 laptops for a liveshow with some friends. and we got the sync to work. But since we have all our songs in separate files we need to open up new songfiles in the middle of the liveset and then the laptop looses the sync. Or acctually, the sync is still there but there´s no start signal so you cant play your song. Is there anyway to work around this.. I mean I can´t be the first person who tries to do this
