there's also a little arrow icon in the lower right corner which will do this, if you prefer to click

Unclear why Live is not using the standard fullscreen modes on Mac -- I'm an expert user, entered fullscreen by accident, and had to google how to exit it!

Typical is you mouse to the top of the screen and buttons appear, or other standard mac methods.
Neither "F11" nor an obscure button are "intuitive" ... esp w menu hidden! I had a panic, nearly force quit.

Is this a feature? Perhaps intended to lock in to fullscreen for safety in performances or such?

That's strange, if I'm in full screen mode and go to top of screen the menu items appear as expected and I can exit full screen mode via View. I'm running Live 11.2 on a MacBook Pro M1 with Monterey. I can also exit using the shortcut control+command+F.

This happens to me all the time, that Live will not follow the standard MacOS full screen conventions and still goes full screen on the desktop space. I have no idea why it does it sometimes, but you can always click the little triangle in the lower right of the screen to close full screen view.

Definitely a frustrating bug.
