x station and mac book

Has any one had any problems getting their macbook to recognise their xstation.


I just puchased one yesterday, Iv installed all the drivers but it aint recognising it at all

can any one help

i have the same problem. i installed the drivers (the x-station arrived yesterday) and i get any sound or signal out of it. but i have the admit that i am a very beginner in music production.

would be great if someone can help

i've had no problem on my new imac (intel).
have you downloaded the universal binary drivers from the novation website? you'll need to do this.

then open the audio midi setup application (in the utilities folder) and set it as your default audio device and midi device.

it should be seen by live now, you'll need to configure your preferences though.

hopefully this will work for you. the xstation is a great bit of kit....

okay, i see the input signal, the macbook knows my x-station but i dont hear anything... :-(

what's the trick? i just want to play on my x-station and want to hear the sound... maybe i should read he user manual ^^
