Ableton Forum

i've been messing about with the settings on the manage My Computer in windows and now when I get a message which says:
Runtime Error!
the application has requested runtime to terminate the application in an unusual way.

If I run my computer in safe mode or reboot through the last known good configuration it works ok. Anyone know what might be causing this?

yeah I know. I was having loads of trouble getting my internet connection to work on my laptop so I tried different combinations of things and on the way have buggered it up... At least I know it's my fault I s'pose.

so what services directly conflict with ableton? That will give me a place to work from...
