so I am working on this remix...
and I have added the original track from the song into its own Live-audiotrack so i could "trace" the beat using Battery. So now I have my own beat-track so that I can tweak and work with my own midinotes instead of using the original beat from the band.
I don't want to use the bands other sounds in the song, just the drumbeat.

anyway...
so when I shut down the track with the original bands beat and hear only my drums... it doesn't sound tight enough. and I know there's a way in Live to do so. But how?

I need to get this nice flow, if y'know what I mean?!

keep tweaking the note start and the note ends. It sounds like you are just doing all the drums in one track? Seperate them out into individual tracks and eq/comp each one only if it needs it.

okay.. so you mean I should have different midi-tracks for each drumpart...
like this:
1. snare
2. hi-hat
3. etc..

No, he is rather meaning that the different drums should be output on different tracks so you can apply different treatments on each part.

Having several midi tracks and several drum instruments is one way to do this, but many drum samplers/players will allow their output to be directed to different tracks

in fact - impulse will let you do this. (I know you are using battery)

If you think the midi "piano roll" timing and samples are spot on, but the drums still sound a bit off, just load up a bunch of audio tracks and in the inputs choose the various outputs form the impulse - there should be 8.

Then you can add your own insert or send effects for each drum separately. Reverbs, delays, etc. Can really make your drums sound wicked.

Or maybe you might be having a problem where your original audio track from the band is not matching up pefectly with your midi drum track. I would suggest to warp your original audio track with the Beats method first so it perfectly lines up rhythmically with the tempo

Have a look for Beats Mode in the manual. Warping is how Live streches or "pitches" the music to match the current tempo of the Live set. I would suggest reading an online tutorial here: http://www.ableton.com/index/tutorials/tips0404. Particularly the section where it says Warping the Beat, Not Your Records.
