Something makes the live 5 slow

Here might be somebody who could have an idea from where to search a solution to the problem:

I have few live sets which works differently from others. The work flow is slower, a.e. if normally music stops immeadetly after pressing stop button, with these problematic sets it reacts after 3-7 seconds delay. And same with every button and action. It´s frustrating...

Cpu meter climbs higher than it should, and instead of cursor I have to watch this rolling beach ball and wait that music stops eventhough I have pressed stop button five seconds earlier...

But if I open an other live set with more used tracks and effects, it works nicely and without any frustrating delays.

I have complained about this as well for a long time..
But unfortunately I have not found why this happens.
Hopefully someone else might have some ideas, have you tested the latest beta 5.2.1? You should use the beta and report the results to ableton if possible.

for the matter, live5 is slow in every session...In your case though its probably a cpu hungry, bad (as in not entirely supported) vst(i) / AU
