All right, another OS X problemo but this one really shouldn't be.

To Recap:

Some many weeks ago, I upgraded to 10.2.6 and Live 2.0.3. Much to my dismay inputs are not available with 2.0.3. I hought this was a OS X issue but NO!! I reverted back to 2.0.1 and the inputs magically return.

So i've been using 2.0.1 and the initial problems I described in my previous thread (huge processor spikes, negative value processor reading which requires reboot, random audio noises and squealing) return. I am dealing with it, but it sucks BIG TIME.

So, I hoped 2.1.1 would relieve this problem.

Unfortunately, they did not.

In case technical support is reading this, I 1) erased ALL preferences from my user account and 2) Created a new user account as well. 3) I uninstalled my MOTU 828 CoreAudio Driver using the Unistall program, 4) reinstalled with the very latest drivers from MOTU.com 5) Installed 2.1.1 6) I check monitor through live in the prefences 60 I check thee bus view and Lo and behold the bus view sees my inputs, bu the tracks do not!

Probelm exist in both accounts.

I am not quite sure what else to do, and quite honestly neither is anyone else on the web as far as my daily efforts have shown me.

....but now I cannot find any of the inputs in the Session tracks in 2.0.1 as well.

This morning they were there, now, no; completely out of the blue.


This makes live totally useless right now, as I use it as a looping multitrack recorder.

I'm supposed to be playing my first live show next week.

I canot believe this...for months everything worked more or less allright. I try to fix some processor spike issues and *poof* gone into the air to be replaced by the pwerbook from hell.

I gues the karma police finally caught up with me.
