mac related: page ins/outs?

my page outs are conciderably high than my page ins . whats going on? i just ordered some more ram but my numbers are scary.

Have you noticed any audio dropouts? With 2gb and running for about an hour I'm getting about 150k faults and 2k page ins. This is a pretty low amount for such a memory and disk intensive app. Are you sure you really need more memory?

i have been trying to render a set to disk and it keeps freezing. i found 1gb of ram for $120 us (samsung). i have a feeling that the extra ram will help my rendering
my numbers are 553755/717587 in/out
