option to quantize FX on/off

currently i use fx such as the auto filter live, i have the freq mapped to a controller and use a button to turn it on and off.
while i realize that the on/off buttons probably werent designed for this, it would be ideal for me if there was a "quantize on/off events" option or button. this way i wouldnt have to wory about trying really hard to be exactly on time and compensating for latency. (especially annoying for me becuase i just upgraded from my built in sound card and keep over compensating)

another option would be to include a second quantized trigger button geared more towards this, say with a small attack and release, maybe 2ms, to aviod clicks and pops when there is a large freq drop off.

something along this line shouldnt be to hard to impliment and it would make life oh so much easier :P

Yes, this would be a good feature.

Also, it would be nice if the track on and solo buttons were quantizeable.

i agree. The ability to quantize on/off commands for vsts and effects would be great, extending this to 'track on' and 'solo' buttons makes alot of sense too. I think this is a really important feature for live use.

Why stop there??

One of the greatest features in Reason is the ability to quantize or draw automation to a grid. I feel everything should be "snapable" or when you edit points you should have to option to snap if you want!
