I'm dragging drum parts from a clean beat loop into impulse. I'm hearing a little snap or clip sound at the end of each sound in impulse. Why am i getting this? Anyone have any suggestions to clean this up?

Snap - that's what made me stop using Impulse. Impulse also changes the sound of the hit...

its a pain in the ass - turn your decay down a touch - not ideal but it works.

so im not the only one. I figured out that if you move the marker back enough in the clip at the end of the hit it will eliminate that sound. Hope they have a fix for that in 6? Maybe im still missing something...

isnt it possible that the sample you used in the impulse has a click in it .. try editing the loop points ont he sample before dragging it to the impulse pad.

you can cut any breaks by changing the loop points on a sample and progressively dragging into the impulse pads..

Isn't this just because the sample ends at non zero amplitude and you get a click?

no it doesnt go down to zero but like i said if i move the marker further back to a higher amplitude away from the next beat it doesnt make this click sound. *shrugs*
