alright this is killing me. i've upgraded to 2.1.1, and now i have to wait unbearably long for sessions to load and/or save...always at least one minute, sometimes two. i've tried going back to 2.0.3 and now it does the same thing. it occurs with all live files, not just ones with lots of edits. the only other change i've made is to update from os10.2.5 to 10.2.6. anyone else having this problem?
thanks.

I've certainly experienced some of the annoying quirks in 2.1.1 but then again I'm on WinXP and not OS (Mac), so sorry I can't be that much help - I reckon that 2.03 is the better version for Windows - the Save thing seems to be OK on my system.
Hope there's a Mac musician out there that can help you fix it.

First run Disk Utility and repair your permissions. When i did that everything quickened up a bit.
By the way what audio settings are you using (HI Quality, 24bit, 96k etc)?

Also trash your live preferences: ~user/library/preferences/Live.plist

thanks steve-o, pref trashing worked. it cut my test load/save time from 52 seconds to 7 seconds. in os9 i was used to trashing prefs constantly, but this is the first time i've had to since i switched to osx. one more question that someone might know the answer to...i have 2.03 and 2.1.1 installed on my computer. do they both use the same pref file? if so it seems like this could cause the problem as i've had both versions on at once.
thanks again!
