Nice!

I think i'll be getting a Macbook with maxed RAM at 2 gigs... should be more than enough for musical applications, at a very good price.

whats the spec on your mac mini ? I am contemplating an intel mac mini in a month or 2 when they hopefully up the cpu to something a little faster or i can buy a solo and pull the chip and drop a Merom in hehe

I have the 2.16ghz macbook with 2gigs of ram. It absolutely smokes. I can't imagine how great it will be when live 6 comes out and takes advantage of the other half of the processor. This is the best laptop i have ever owned.

how much for the macbook pro with 2gigs, and are there any other special shit that it comes with

btw how much does it weigh?

the 15" weighs 5.6lb's
the 17" weighs 6.8lb's

to keep the price down, get your 2nd gig stick at a place like Macsales.com instead of direct from Apple. they have 1GB sticks for about $109, and guaranteed to work with your MacBook Pro. Where as Apple will charge you $300 for that extra 1GB stick. You can use the $191 you saved on getting a faster Hard Drive, or Ableton Sampler :P

The Macbook uses shared graphics memory, smaller display resolution, and has a non-lighted keyboard.
