output from your soundcard to kaos pad via a return chanel
output from your kaos pad into your soundcard
turn input audio track's monitor mode to "on"
adjust track delay on tthe return chanel untill the timing is tight

I think the kaoss pad delays the signal about 0.35 ms, so the return channel's track delay should be -0.35 ms.
But that was found just by minimizing the phasing between the original signal and the kaoss pad signal. A better way would be to measure the delay in Logic's sample editor or something like that.

i think it depends on the soundcard/latency settings

The right track delay for my fx loop seemed to be 1x input latency + 2x output latency.
