Ableton Forum

Hi everybody. Just wondered if there's anybody around my area on here. While it's nice to get out to the San Francisco bay area once in a while, that's a little too far to drive on a regular basis.

Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out Live 5. I have a lot of the basics down, but it would be great to grow a community of Ableton users over here. Also, I'm trying to figure out if there is ANYONE else here (besides the 4 or 5 people who I already know) who are into electronic music.

i agree with RobertX. i grew up in turlock/hilmar which is even worse, but left right after high school (for college, etc). i moved back recently, but it's only for a few months while i take care of some stuff. then it's back to the bay area or back to europe. i just started using live 5.2 not too long ago, so i'm very much a beginner (making the change from spinning records).
if there are other people in the area into electronic music or if you know of some parties, please post them or let me know! i also hate having to drive up to SF every weekend, but i've been doing it nevertheless. luckily i've got lots of friends there so i can couchsurf

ps i mainly listen to minimal (hawtin, villalobos, john tejada, etc)
