I just made my first track in Live and now I want to export it into Cubase/Sonar/Pro Tools for some editing.

DO I REALLY HAVE TO EXPORT TRACKS ONE AT A TIME?

Someone please tell me that there is a multitrack export function like .omf or something available? Ableton can't have overlooked this feature... right?

Help!

You'll have to wait for Live 6 for that feature.

i think its possible with TapeIt, but i seem to remember you need the full version. think the idea was to put a copy on each channel & record the seperate outputs to disk while playing the song through.

Yes but given that you have to record separate outputs on separate tracks, you can route your tracks to new tracks and multitrack record all together. No more hassle from the next Live update though.

Yes, you can...

it's not the most elegant way to do it, but it works. Personally, i rewire into PT, but this way will work too.

How do you dub it through Rewire? Rewire tracks don't have the ability to record in Cubase, unless I'm missing something. I can rewire it to Cubase, but Cubase only acts as a monitoring engine.
