For some reason when I set up any fader or any encoder on the Kontrol 49 to control anything in Ableton Live 5.21 (Mac Intel version), all 8 faders / encoders control the same thing?

When I re-map each one they all control the latest thing I select in Live.

The controller works fine in Logic Pro 7.2 and also in Reason 3. This problem doesn't happen in those.

Each fader / encoder controller has a different midi CC number in the setup and I can get different keys / pads to control different things, just not the faders / encoders

Any ideas?

bump. Still haven't found a solution and want to use it out live in a few weeks?

had the same problem.

i solved it with using the template file that comes on the cd with the Kontrol.

loaded it up and suddenly i was able to asign sliders an knobs just as usual. customized that template and made it my default live setup

EXCELLENT. Thanks, it seems to work fine now (after I dug out the dusty old Korg Kontrol CD!)
