you Only get 1 Filter per instance?

BUT WHO??
Why d'you need more?mike@TrackTeam Audio wrote:you Only get 1 Filter per instance?
dont need more but id like to have more, especially with the filters on hand, seems like the way the interface is clean and very well arranged and set up with the browser and Live in General, youd be able to just add a filter with a layer or something. i just assumed youd be able to do this with sampler. also, maybe im just used to most other multisamplers out there that you can have multiple filters per instance. but then there are lots of other features that you have with sampler that you dont have wth multi-sampler.noisetonepause wrote:Why d'you need more?mike@TrackTeam Audio wrote:you Only get 1 Filter per instance?
Say you map a group of vocal samples to C1 to C2, from C#2-D3 you map found sounds... basically you use a multi sample sampler like you would expect to with building your own kits. What possible reason would you want with a global filter in this case?noisetonepause wrote:Why d'you need more?mike@TrackTeam Audio wrote:you Only get 1 Filter per instance?
I think the point is that you use multiple samplers for multiple groups of samples. So everything you want filtered together, fm'd together, panned together etc, you do in one sampler, and so on.Machinesworking wrote:Say you map a group of vocal samples to C1 to C2, from C#2-D3 you map found sounds... basically you use a multi sample sampler like you would expect to with building your own kits. Trying hard not to be snippy, but it's pretty obvious why you would want to be able to add different filters to different samples.
hear you man. but then say for instance you want to modulate all layers with a single LFO, yeah just set an LFO of the same frequency to the same destinations(s) with the same amount.... at all layers = lots more CPU. you just convinced me more..noisetonepause wrote:I think the point is that you use multiple samplers for multiple groups of samples. I know it's not 'what we're used to', but I quite like it myself.
