That's harddrive..... Memory is RAM....
Why is it all mac ppl call harddrive "memory"....
u can have as much as you can afford as far as I know.
As for memory.... on PC it's a matter of which brand and which
motherboard... Different motherboards support different amounts of
different brands. Some brands 2Gig, some 4Gig.

how could you possibly make a generalization about ALL mac people calling harddrive space "memory"?
I'm a mac person. and I've never called it memory.
to answer the question above. my powerbook g4 came with 100gigs of harddrive space. I'm told I can get up to 2gig's of ram if I wanted to dish out the cash. though on a laptop I'm not so sure you can actually upgrade the harddrive space, only ram. I could be wrong though.

yes you're wrong, you can upgrade the hard drive space on a laptop but that depends on the kind of laptop and the kind of hard drive.
BTW I'm also a "Mac guy" and don't call it
Memory

Upgrading the hard drive tends to void the warrenty (though, if memory serves me right, the warrenty language is kind of vague). I'd looked into putting a faster drive in my MacBook, and decided ultimately that it just wasn't worth the risk.

memory all depends on how much weed youve smoked.
