Hi,
anyone knows if maxtor 3000le hard disk that as usb2 is fast enough for work with live? I already have a pcmcia - usb2 adaptor. Is usb2 fast as firewire? DWill it cuase more cpu load?

USB hard disk? Never knew such a thing existed
If it does, it will be WAY slower than Firewire..... WAY slower.

if it was up to me.. i'd go with a firewire hard drive... usb's vs. firewire your comparing a match to a torch... when your ready to buy.. compare the transfer speed and the speed(rpm) the drive reads at.. i say any drive that preformes over 5300 rpm should work great.. would prefer 7200 rpm if you have the money tho...
