How to convert .wav files into .alc ?

Hi i'm sure this is a noob thing but i don't know how to convert my .wav samples into .alc

If someone can help me... thanks

drag them into Live's browser.

Okay but how to convert it into a device? Like Fingered Bass or something like that?

You're not converting anything. a .alc file is a file that links to your sample or plugin.

Okay but then is it possible to have a Note Editor for .wav ? Like the "MIDI Note Editor" ?

Okay, i'd like to have the same grid there is for MIDI devices (check screenshot) for the .WAV samples. That's all!

yeah! but i dont know how to get this grid for wav! i only know how to get it with orignial live midi devices!

If you have an impulse on that track. the press the fold button.
If you're actually talking about audio clips... There is no grid, only if you use the envelope editor there will be a grid.
