Hello All,

We are starting a new project / club night / collective and looking for talented new producers / dj's to work with (for live stuff the first few events we have planned are in London, however, if you are making / playing cool stuff and you are anywhere in the world please send over a PM). I would love to hear from you if you are interested in forward looking, forward thinking music that has it's roots in the dancefloor.

Influences / fave labels include:

Luciano
Alex Smoke
Carl Craig,
Ricardo,
Sven Vath,
Get Physical,
Perlon,
paul Wooldford,
Kompakt
Oliver Koletski,
Matthew Jonson,
Alex under,
Trapez,
Andrew Weatherall,
Seeparchive,
Loco Dice,
Poker Flat
Inland Knights,
Audio Jack,
Bpitch
To name but a few. . .

So, not banging, not chillout - rather, intelligent music for dancing too that has a little soul and integrity. . . Am looking to work with cool people who know their sh*t. . .

Also am interested in production hook ups, have a couple of label deals under various alias' but always want to work with likeminded peoples. .

PM me if you would like to find out a little more (a link to some music is always good as well). . .

Cheers

TS

PS Just to add a little more (this also was posted on the Ableton Live Dj site) - We are looknig for people to play live, to collaborate with and to exchange (our own) music with.

PPS Happy to send out any of my recent productions if you wanna hear. .

Theoretically, nothing

but usually you want you're music to be somewhat crackin / bangin - I mean music should have a element of "banging"

I'm not hatin' I'm just saying it's a weird thing to say

"Hey, tired of banging club nights, come to ours, it's not banging at all"

I know what he's going for, a IDM type night, but even IDM has a element of funk to it, no?

Hi,

No IDM over here thanks very much!

Or glitch or any of that other stuff (although it has played it's part in the formulation / influence of the underground music played and made by the artists and labels mentioned in my initial post). As a side note to that initial post i should have of course have included Monolake as that programme they developed is pretty important in the greater scheme of things as well :)

@ - Dj Adonis. Do you know the kind of music we are talking about? I think that if memory serves me right that you are more into the Tribal / US / Robbie Rivera type stuff (forgive me if this not the case, this is just what I remember from reading yr posts over the last year or so). . .

Anyway, when i say not banging I mean not banging superfast techno or banging house type sound.

More Carl Craig than Angel Alanis / Robbie Rivera. . .

And with all due respect to people who make music and play music every where my personal opinion is that what we would refer to 'banging' club music belongs where it was formulated - back in the 90's. . .

I am so sick of cut up disco loops (funky house) awful formulaic electro house, and sh*t cookie cutter dance music that dominates much of the Uk.

So, respectfully I don't think that music needs to be banging although this probably is a question of meaning rather than intent. It should however be funky, filthy, twisted, melodic, dirty and make you want to shake your ass or jump up and down like a lunatic cos after all isn't that what we all love about good club music and aren't those the experiences that got a whole load of us into this music in the first place?

Peace
