I There, I just got my M-Audio Tigger Finger after cheaking it out on the M-Audio site. I came across this video - http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=med ... a191c74b0f -. This is what i wanted to be able to do. But now that i got it im not able to have it go that fast. I map the sound to the pad and there is a delay between when i push it and when i hear it. Not some 0.5 sec. delay. Its like 2-3 seconly delay, and in that time im not able to set the sound off again. Im running P4 3.2 ghz 1gb ram and a Hercules Gamesurround Fortissimo III. Dose anyone know how i would be able to use my Trigger Finger just like in this video. Sry if i sound kina n00b, its kuz i am. I cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the latency.

Check your audio preferences / Drivers. If your card audio card supports Asio Drivers. select it. if your Audio card doesn't. download Asio4All drivers.

youre probably going to have to get a new soundcard to do what you want.

Yeah. You need ASIO drivers. Asio4All might work with your card. But the fault is with your card/drivers - not with the Triggerfinger!

what would i want to look for in getting a new sound card that would bel able to work that fast, just anything that supports native ASIO? Kuz i was looking at the Soundblaster X-Fi XtremeMusic. Just kuz its in my price range and it supports ASIO 2.0. Or would i want to go with a more pro. card? Any thoughts?

I figured it out, i got it to work now. turns out im just a n00b. I downloaded a tigger finger template from the m-audio site and it works just like in the video. I played around with the file and figured out how to do it my self. Thx for all you help peeps.
