I Just purchased ableton live 5 from a music store today and did not get a program disc but got 2 of the same copies of the library disc and one demo disc. The instructions mentions a program disc.

Am I suppose to install from the demo disc or did I just get a defective purchase?

Do you still have a 16-digit serial number in the box?

If so, go to http://www.ableton.com/demo
download the demo, plug in that serial number, and you'll be up and running with the full version.
