Adobe Loopology loops clipping and unusable

I've just mooved to live, and I'm trying to use some of the loops I have which came with Adobe Audition (specifically the Loopology loops collection).
About half of the loopology loops work just fine, but the other half appear to have their gain turned up super high when opened in Live and are clipping all across the board. I tried hitting edit to bring the loops up in Audition 2.0 and they look and work fine there, they just come up crazy in Live (and are completely unusable). The loops are simple .wav files, so I can't figure out why this is happening. Changing the gain in Live doesn't help (they're still completely clipped out), and it doesn't happen with all of the loops, just some.
I'm using Live 5.2.1 on WinXP with an AMD 3200 and a gig or Ram. Any ideas? I'd really like to be able to use these loops...
Thanks!
