Hi All
I currently user Reason 2.5 and Ableton Live is in the post. I would love to be able to trigger video clips to play while playing my music. Anyone got any ideas if there is any software out there that can link with ableton live
Cheers

cheers for the links folks
im still trying to suss out how it would actually work together. Ive got loadsa riffs ive done in reason. I was thinking of exporting the loops into Live then trying to hook up some VJ software and make a big mix of all my tunes (riffs) with the video clips changing in time with the music. Not sure if you can do that though. My brain hurts thinking about it.
Cheers

modul8 works great.. but running both live and modul8 at the same time requires lots of ram and a very fast processor... does work amazingly well with the new Universal Binary beta version though..

Check out Arkaos this can be midi triggered so you can set a midi track in Live to do it for you.... all you need then is to use a program like midi yoke to route the signal to Akaos...... no mac needed!

has anyone been able to make proMIDI work with Mac? It's supposed to work with Plumstone, but after some testing I think I'm doing something horribly wrong or there's a bug in proMIDI 2.0. 1.0 doesn't recognize the controllers, but 2.0 doesn't seem to be able to open the Library.

I think Arkaos is compatible with rewire, if that makes things simpler.

I use Arkaos VJ ReWired to Live.
Works great, and easy to use Live MIDI/CC clips to keep all Arkaos visuals synched and beatmatched.
And you can do some crazy IAC clip/Follow Action video stuff. Really effective when Live is doing the lighting, too.
